St. Mark's organic herb and vegetable community garden is planted and maintained by N.E.W. Master Gardener volunteers. It has grown up to 500 lbs. of vegetables and herbs each year that are given to pantry patrons.
We use several gardening techniques to maximize the crop:
- square foot gardening
- vertical gardening
- companion plant gardening
