Starting Point

We want to help you take your next spiritual step.  That's why we've designed Starting Point.  No matter what your background is, whether you are a lifelong Christian or brand new to the faith, this 4 hour in-person seminar is meant for those who would like to join our partnership at St. Mark.  

What are we going to talk about?
Hour 1 – St. Mark Mission and Vision; Value of Worship
Hour 2 – How to Use the Bible; How to Pray; Baptism; Communion
Hour 3 – How Can I Be a Part God's Mission
Hour 4 – How Do I Plug into God's Family at St. Mark

A More In-Depth Explanation of our Guest Services Team

This is a great way to serve one weekend a month at just one worship service.

Services each month we are in most need of Guest Services help:
-1st weekend - Sun 9:00am
-2nd weekend - Sat 5:00pm
-3rd weekend - Sat 5:00pm and Sun 10:30am
-4th weekend - Sat 5:00pm, Sun 9:00am and 10:30am
-Lenten services (weekly Wednesday services Feb. 17-Mar. 24 at 12:30pm (GB), 6:30pm (De Pere), Maundy Thursday and Good Friday

We have "behind the scenes" needs, too. For example:
-taking attendance at our services
-setting up atrium chairs for overflow
-communion backup help when supplies run low during the services
-check that the restrooms are clean with ample supplies
-get trained to give Children's Church aides communion
