Outline of Starting Point

Session 1: Mission and Vision

Session 2: Find and Compare

Chances are good, if you live in America, that you’ve driven by a dozen different churches on your daily commute.  Why are there so many different churches?  In this video, we’ll take a brief look at some of the key differences between three of the largest groups of Christians.”

Session 3: Theme and Message

The entire Bible, from beginning to end, tells a unified story of humanity’s broken and restored relationship with God. The whole story, and all of human history, centers on Jesus. At St. Mark Ministries, we celebrate this message by growing in faith, sharing the good news, and participating in the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper to nurture our relationship with God and one another.

Session 4: Church Commitments

We’ll look at what it means to be part of a church, and what God asks of us in Scripture when we commit ourselves to a body of believers.

Session 5: Connecting Partners

We’ll walk you through your next steps as a partner.
