Michael has been a partner at St. Mark since he and his wife Erica were married at the De Pere church back in 2004. He attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN (Bachelor of Science in Staff Ministry) and then spent seven years with The Lutheran Home Association and Jesus Cares Ministries.
It’s only been the last several years that he was called part time on church staff and recently went full time in January 2020. As Congregational Life Minister, Michael does life with many people in the St. Mark family, but mostly with those who are new. You’ll find him making hospital visits, leading worship at the Green Bay campus, spending time with students at UW-Green Bay, and walking together with those new to church trying to discover what their journey might look like in the St. Mark family.
Michael and Erica have four children, Aubrey, Addisyn, Ethan and Lincoln and love spending time together outdoors with their dog Hunter.
